Sadly (due to a number of reasons) we have now decided to Close The Godalming Packetboat Company and will no longer be operating from Godalming Wharf.

Our lovely Horse-Drawn Boat "IONA" has been mooved to Tiverton in Devon and joins Tiverton Canal Co who alredy operate a Horse-Drawn Barge on the Grand Western Canal in Tiverton. EX164HX

NEW Home to IONA from Godalming

Come and join us aboard Iona the perfect way to cruise the National Trust’s unspoilt River Wey & Godalming Navigations.

Iona will be pulled by one of our heavy horses along both natural river and a canal section and through one of the oldest boat locks in the country.

Travel quietly in the time honoured way as generations of river boatmen have throughout history.

We do private charters to provide the ideal outing for clubs, organisations, senior citizens, wedding receptions & corporate events.

We can provide refreshments so please contact us to discuss your requirements.

We also run regular public trips.

All trips run from Godalming Wharf ( opposite Sainsbury’s in Godalming Town) between Easter to the end of September. These usually start at 2pm and last approx 2 hours and the maximum capacity is 46 passengers.
